The goal was to craft a visual identity that felt sporty, but with a distinctive offbeat feel. I took a fair level of inspiration from various motifs found in nature, including the rugged trails and sandstone steps of Turkey Mountain, which informed the creation of the secondary Terrain Club "TC" word mark.

The resulting identity combines sleek athletic apparel branding with slightly bumpy, grimy type and graphics which wouldn't feel out of place among the stone and decaying organic matter of the trails.
